All we can say is "wow." Not that we ever doubted that building with Trunk Bay would be a great experience. But being able to tell our friends, after being told time and time again: "be prepared to move in late", that we had actually moved in EARLY was pretty fun! And, of course, to move into a house that exceeded our expectations was even better. Not only did Marty and Neil listen to us throughout the entire process, but they even REMINDED us at times of those things that were most important to US.
We never felt like they were trying to rush through--to get it done just for the sake of getting it done. They were trying to get it right--for us. And they did that. The biggest compliments we've gotten since we've moved in are: "Your home feels so cozy." and "This isn't like any other home I've seen in Bloomington-Normal." We had Trunk Bay reDesign do a complete master bath remodel since ours was leaking into the basement. A few years ago, we had it repaired by another contractor and the leak continued. At that time we were not prepared to do a complete remodel, we just wanted the leak fixed. When we approached Trunk Bay to give us a bid for the bathroom, we were sold on them. They were very professional and promised to be done on time, clean up after themselves, within budget and fix the leak. They delivered on all their promises. We love our bathroom and now think it is the coolest place in the house. Our three boys like it too since they now want to shower in the "big" shower and our oldest loves showing his friends the TV in the mirror. Another huge factor, making our experience seem effortless, was the end-to end service they provided in helping us sell our old house and bringing in folks to help us get it ready to sell. By doing this, we were able to move the old house and focus on building the new on. Marty even helped to find us interim housing arrangements as our old house sold so quickly.

We would simply like to say "Thank You". We have had a wonderful experience with Trunk Bay. Previously, we had a bad experience with building a home and were reminded by others just how hard the building process can be. So when we started looking to move into Bloomington-Normal we wanted to find a home that was already constructed and ready to move into. That all changed when we met Rick and Michele at a couple of their open houses.
They actually opened our eyes to a whole new building experience and I knew "I had to have a Trunk Bay home". I remember looking at other listings but nothing compared to anything of Trunk Bay's.
Marty and his staff were able to take a house plan of our choice and customize it to fit our budget and style.
